Armagnac

Wine eau-de-vie produced since the Middle Ages

You can start the day by visiting La Bastide Armagnac, a perfectly preserved medieval village, and then continue the day by visiting Domaine d’Ognoas.

The latter is a wine estate where you will be able to taste an Armagnac distilled in the oldest still in Europe (1804) and served on the most famous French tables.

We then suggest lunch at La Ferme aux Grives – Les Prés d’Eugénie. It is a historic inn where you will experience unforgettable rustic feasts, owned by Chef Michel Guérard (3 Michelin stars) for over 30 years.

This epicurean Chef is also passionate about wine and has been producing a dry white wine from Tursan since 1983: Château de Bachen, which we will not miss visiting and tasting.
