Graves et Sauternes

Chateau d’Yquem, a French monument historique since 2003

If Bordeaux owes its reputation to red wines, there are also remarkable white wines. While travelling through the Sauternes vineyards, you will discover the sweet wines obtained thanks to the development of the noble
rot.

Many things go perfectly with a sweet wine: foie gras of course, but also poultry, cheese and even some shellfish. Dare a meal entirely accompanied by Sauternes and you will not be disappointed.

Then, you will discover the dry white wines of the Graves Pessac-Léognan appellation. Everyone knows Château Haut Brion, or Pape Clément but you may discover others just as elegant and refined such as Château Smith Haut Lafitte, Carbonnieux, or Tour Martillac.
